Adding stress or pressure to our training is important because in a real defensive shooting we will be amped up. Sometimes we pick smaller targets, different distances, or add a time factor. We can change our stance or even which hand we fire the gun with — anything to add stress to the training to test ourselves.
Another great way to make training real is to start competitive shooting.
In this roundtable, we will discuss ways we train to add stress and pressure to evaluate our abilities.
As with all Roundtables, this is not a presentation but a discussion.
