This class focuses on treatment of bleeding and trauma care. It has a focus for Teachers and other professionals that seek to be prepared in the event of an active shooter or other trauma. We will go “hands-on” for the medical portion and students will leave with a working knowledge of tourniquets, pressure bandages, bleeding control and important immediate basic level medical care. We will also discuss how to become a “harder target” and protecting classrooms, office spaces and homes.
